Modular integrated biofilter

EWG-RAS consists of physical filtration system, biological filtration system, thermostatic system, sterilization and disinfection system, water quality online monitoring system and so on. Biofiltration system mainly includes moving bed biofilter (MBBR), modular integrated biofilter and upflow biofilter box.

Marine / fresh water universal biofilter

Oxygen and nitrification integrated biofilter can efficiently remove phosphorus and ammonia nitrogen, low energy consumption and save land occupation. In the design of the system, the universality of marine and freshwater aquaculture system is considered, so the use of the system in inland only need to configure raw water, replenish fresh water, and will not reduce the salinity of seawater.

Application of high density RAS

The improved and innovative biofiltration equipment with high efficiency and low energy consumption based on the advanced RAS in North America can make the unit water volume capacity of the RAS reach or approach the international advanced level (such as tilapia 120/m3, grouper 100/m3, Penaeus vannamei 15/m3).

Technical characteristics of EWG bio-filler

After special treatment on the surface of the filler, the adhesion ability of the biofilm is very strong, the specific surface area of the filler is large, the porosity is high, and the adhesion biomass is large.
According to the geometry design of fluid mechanics, the three-dimensional flow force of filler in water is strong.
The addition of trace elements such as hydrophilic groups only takes 3-15 days.
Excellent impact resistance, strong shear capacity and high dissolved oxygen content.
No bracket is needed, easy to fluidization, energy saving and land saving.

High efficiency aeration, degassing and nitrification

The oxygen supply device of the biofilter is skillfully combined with the high efficiency biofilter bed, which not only improves the efficiency of the biofilter bed, but also plays an unpowered and high efficiency role in increasing oxygen. After treatment, the dissolved oxygen amount of water is up to 12-16mg /L. The main limiting factors of Ultra-high-density recirculating aquaculture system are whether mechanical and biological filtration can remove wastes in time and supply enough oxygen for aquaculture organisms.

The energy consumption of the main equipment of the system (recirculating water pump, rotary drum filter, etc.) is about 4.2 kWh/m3, which is about 30% lower than that of the same kind of products.

Recirculating Aquaculture System(RAS) combines the characteristics of aquaculture, microbiology, environmental science and other disciplines in a relatively closed space, using a variety of biological, physical and chemical methods to quickly remove the excrement of aquatic organisms and food residues, so that the water quality can be reused after purification, and the general water weight is reused. The utilization rate is over 90%. On the premise of adding only a small amount of supplementary water, recycled water is used for intensive cultivation of high density aquatic organisms.
